Kevin Bacon is no stranger to New Jersey. He is originally from Philadelphia, right across the river. As if that was not close enough, he is only a few degrees away from some of the most famous NJ actors and actresses ever.

I was close to Kevin Bacon once. I went to see a showing of True West in Red Bank and his brother-in-law was starring in the play. Sure enough behind me and the rest of the field trip of sophomore high school students, there sat the man himself. I didn’t realize until AFTER the show who he actually was and that is why my separation from him will remain a few degrees until we meet again. Until we meet again Kevin Bacon.
